The story so far....

Ok guys here is the story as it stands at this moment. Please post any constructive criticisms and keep in mind that the story isn't set in stone yet.

Oh and let me finish writing down the story before any of you start to post just be patient.

The Beginning

The character Wolfe is walking to school with his friend Sophie aka "The Fire Goddess", when she tells him that she had a terrible dream last night in which a terrible catastrophe had struck the town they live in. Wolfe tells her that it was just a dream and if they don't hurry up they'll be late for school. At this point you get control and guide Wolfe to school. While at school an earthquake hits the town and the students are evacuated from the school, in the midst of the chaos Wolfe is separated from Sophie when he and a handful of other students fall into the basement of the school when the floor collapses.
Wolfe passes out when this happens and you're given the choice to play the intro level for the main characters.

Wolfe's Intro

When Wolfe regains consciousness he searches for Sophie only to find that she isn't in the basement and monsters have invaded the school, and that the majority of students have been evacuated to a local shrine and are awaiting the government. Determined to make sure that Sophie is alright Wolfe sets out to to the shrine, but before he can leave one of his teachers who is trapped in the basement as well gives him the "Chain Claw" for protection. So Wolfe makes his way out of the school and into the courtyard where he confronts the "Boss" of the level. At first Wolfe is losing and can't damage the boss, but as he is about to lose his demon blood activates and he's able to defeat the boss. After he beats the boss he sets out for the shrine to make sure Sophie is okay.

Ichiro's Intro

Ichiro is out in town making sure that people are okay after the earthquake decimated the town sending those that can walk to his clans shrine to wait for evacuation. While out he gets word that his temple is under attack by monsters and rushes back to save it. Along the way he has to fight a horde of monsters and eventually collapses from exhaustion.

Shirley and Karl's Intro

Shirley and Karl are out on a mission to track and capture a dragon that appeared before the earthquake and has been causing chaos in the area. The dragon has taken refuge in a dilapidated castle that has been infested with monsters after making their way down to the dragons lair in a cave below the castle they fight and defeat it. Before they can capture and send the dragon back to their HQ the dragon makes a last ditch attack forcing Shirley to knock Karl out of the way as the dragon escapes. Before Shirley can punish Karl for letting the dragon get away they get a call from HQ telling them to help with the evacuation of a nearby town that has been invaded by monsters.

Earth Temple

The level begins with Karl and Shirley coming across the unconscious body of Ichiro when he starts to come to (which Karl mistakes as him turning into a zombie). When Ichiro comes to he tells them that residents of the town have been evacuated to his clans shrine. When they arrive at the shrine they find the shrine is swarming with monsters, amongst the monsters they notice Wolfe fighting them off as he tries to make it into the shrine to search for Sophie. When they get inside they find most of the evacuated town people, but learn that several of the town people had gone to investigate a cave that had opened up the the floor during the earthquake for another way out of the town and away from the monsters. When Wolfe can't find Sophie among the town people who were still in the shrine he convinces Ichiro, Shirley, and Karl to search for the remaining town people, they eventually find the town people and Sophie deep in the temple and learn that a girl who had gone with them had gone on further. When they go to get the girl they encounter the "Gate Keepers" the boss for the temple, after defeating the Keepers they find the girl trapped in a crystal and when Wolfe get near it the crystal begins to glow. After a bright glow the girl is freed from the crystal and Wolfe can use earth magic.

Mommy

After they've rescued and evacuated the citizens of the town Shirley tells Karl that she has lost contact with HQ and suggests going to investigate, before Shirley and Karl can leave Karl invites Ichiro, Wolfe, and Sophie to come along as maybe they can get information on what had happened in the earth temple. Before Wolfe will leave though he insists that he makes sure his mom is okay, when they arrive at Wolfe's house they find that his mother was injured in the earthquake and is dieing, before she dies she tells Wolfe that his father was a demon. After learning this Shirley pulls her gun on Wolfe and everyone freaks out, when Karl asks her what she is doing she tells them that her clan has been protecting the world from demons for centuries and that it is her duty to eradicate the demons to protect the world. After being talked down Shirley quickly changes the subject and tells everyone that they are going to HQ now.

Military HQ

As everyone enters Ichiro comments on the amount of destruction around the base. When they enter the base they are attacked by Shirley and Karl's former commander "General Whosit" who has joined with the demons helping them attack the base by freeing the monsters in the facilities prisons. Gen. Whosit sets off an explosion that separates the group sending Karl and Ichiro down the hole created by the explosion leaving Shirley and Wolfe to chase after the general.
At this point you're given the choice of which group follow through the facility without the chance to follow the other group unless you play through the game again.

Military HQ-Shirley and Wolfe

So after the explosion Wolfe is concerned about Ichiro and Karl, but Shirley isn't concerned telling him that they are "big boys" and can handle themselves. After chasing the Gen. Whosit through the dark base (the power was knocked out from the explosion) Wolfe and Shirley stumble upon a locked door that they can't open because the power is out. Karl finally makes radio contact with Shirley and tells her that they had fallen into the prison facility and are attempting to turn the power on. After a brief dialogue between Shirley and Wolfe the power gets turned back on and they proceed through the facility until they stumble upon the mini boss for "PVT. Johansen" who has been partially transformed into a demon, after they defeat Johansen the floor underneath him collapses and he falls through. continuing through the facility they finally make it to the command center where they find Gen Whosit has transformed into a full demon and they do battle with the general escaping at the last minute.
At this point the two group would be reunited

Military HQ-Karl and Ichiro

So after having fallen in the hole Karl attempts to make radio contact with Shirley but can't because the radio was damaged in the fall, after getting acquainted with their surroundings Karl tells Ichiro they are in the prison facility that houses some of the more dangerous monsters they have encountered. After fighting their way through most of the prison they find a dieing guard with a radio and manage to make contact with Shirley and Wolfe, who tells them that the generators should be just past the prison facility and to try to get the power going. After proceeding to the end of the prison facility they find Karl's mom "General Ashton" fighting of the prisoners that are trying to escape when their leader manages to get the better of her, Karl infuriated by this charges at the leader with Ichiro following close behind. After they defeat the leader they find out that Gen. Ashton was only wounded and she tells Karl and Ichiro to continue onward and that she'll finish up here, after exiting the prison they come across the generator room and Karl uses his electrical abilities to start the generators restoring power to the facility. After proceeding further into the facility they come across the boss for the level "PVT Johansen" who falls on top of them and has fully transformed into a demon, after defeating Johansen he manages to escape leaving Ichiro and Karl to proceed to the control room.
At this point the two groups would be reunited

Home Base

After the groups have reunited they find the main computer for the facility but find that most of the information has been corrupted and can only find information on three of the temples the Wind, Water, and Lightning temples. After finding this out Ichiro suggests that they investigate the temples for clues as o what is going on, before they can leave Gen. Ashton stops them and suggests that they set up a new home base as the military HQ is finished. Ichiro suggests a nearby facility that belongs to his clan and is used for training purposes.
After setting up Home Base you're given the chance of which of the temples to go to first and they can be tried in any order.

Now the following three temples are kinda lacking in substance so if any one could suggest ways to make it better that would be great.

Wind Temple

So we don't have much for this temple aside from you'll encounter Cloud Red as a mini Boss and after defeating him he says that you haven't seen the last of him. And that the boss for this temple is either going to be a Griffin or a Harpy, after defeating it you'll rescue the "Wind Goddess".

That's it so far so if you have any comments please post them we could use the help.

Bad Guy cut scene I

After finishing the first Temple you get a cut scene of the bad guys talking in which Cloud Red is explaining to his boss (who you can't see because he is in shadows) that he failed and that there were other people there, and the shadowy figure just tells him to find the next goddess.

Water Temple

So after finding the location of the water temple the group is chased into the temple by the boss a Giant Serpent or something. Again you make you're way through the temple and again encounter Cloud Red as the mini and after defeating him he says that he'll be back. After making your way to the end of the level you encounter the Giant Serpent again and have a boos battle during which you have the chance of killing it quickly otherwise you have to fight it on a never ending "Slide" that ends once you've defeated it. After defeating the boss you end up saving the "WAter Goddess".

Bad Guy cut scene II

The shadowy figure asks Cloud Red where the goddess is and Mari (the girl always following Cloud Red) tells the shadowy figure that the group is stronger than the anticipated. After which Cloud Red is berated for failing after which Cloud Red promises that he will not fail again.

Lightning Temple

So we have nothing for the Lightning temple aside from Cloud Red being the mini boss, and you end up rescuing the "Lightning Goddess".

Cloud Red comes back empty handed yet again and the Shadowy figure is disappointed in him, when Mari sticks up for Cloud Red saying that it's not their fault but that there is something special about Wolfe but that she has a plan.

Fire Temple

During this temple you're forced to use Wolfe
So the group comes back to Home Base only to find out that it has been attacked by Cloud Red and that he has kidnapped Sophie and that she has been taken to the Fire Temple, Gen. Ashton says that she has managed to rebuild the information from the main computer from the military HQ. Once the group makes it to the fire temple the find Cloud Red at the entrance during which he gloats about what he did, after making it part way into the temple the group encounters Gen. Whosit and PVT. Johansen as the mini boss. After defeating them they make their escape, after making it to the chamber before the Fire Goddess the group encounters Cloud Red once again with Wolfe threatening Cloud Red before the boss fight. After defeating Cloud Red the group manages to rescue Sophie.

Darkness Temple

After rescuing Sophie she'll tell you that being trapped in the crystal had filled her with knowledge and that she knows the location of the darkness temple. So after arriving at the darkness temple and making their way deep inside the group encounters Cloud Red once again and after defeating him he blames them for everything that is happening. outside of the goddess's chamber the group finally confronts the shadowy figure unfortunately he has acquired the elemental power of darkness and as a parting "gift" leaves them a minotaur to fight. After defeating the minotaur the group rushes into the goddess's chamber only to find Cloud Red crouched over the body of the "Darkness Goddess", and the group prepares to fight him but stop when he asks them to help him as the darkness goddess is actually Mari and the Shadowy figure had stripped her of her powers. The group agrees to take Cloud Red and Mari back to Home Base.

Light Temple

Back at Home Base Cloud Red tells the group that the shadowy figures ultimate goal is to gain access to the temple of light, and that in order to gain access he first needed the power of darkness and now that he has taken that power there is nothing to stop him. The group determined to stop "The Figure" from acquiring the element of Light set out to the light temple, upon arriving at the temple the group is confronted by the Figure and they do battle with him but he escapes into the temple. Half way into the temple the group encounters Gen. Whosit and PVT. Johansen and defeat them once and for all. After making it to the goddess's chamber they encounter The Figure again but unfortunately he has acquired the light element and has combined it with the darkness element to create a super form. After defeating The figure the group enters the goddess's chamber to find that there is no goddess and that the crystal containing the element of light has cracked and with the crystal damaged the world is in peril, but as Wolfe approaches the crystal it begins to glow as all the elements that he has absorbed begin to react with the crystal and restore it to normal but leaving Wolfe without any elemental powers.

The Credits

The credits play listing all of us.

After the credits The shadowy figure appears with Gen. Whosit and Pvt. Johansen revealing that ones that were defeated were actually clones made by the Shadowy figures control of the Darkness element.

The end that's the story we have so far so feel free to post any thoughts you have on the story. Make sure to include any thoughts you guys have to improve it or any questions or problems you have, because after all this is our game.
